Training for Transport: Preparing for the 21st Century

Respiratory Care Practitioners are utilized on medical transport systems across the country. Proper preparation through knowledge base and skills are required for performing inter-facility and on scene transports. The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems standards for crew training and competencies are the national standard, and these will be discussed.
