This lecture will focus on using technology in the curriculum. The presentation will describe evaluation of educational software, development of learning modules, and the use of the Internet for classroom instruction. The presentation will overview the use of course management software for placing program materials on the Internet.
The learner will be able to
1. Describe criteria for evaluating educational software.
2. Describe a process for developing learning modules.
3. Select Internet sites for use in respiratory care presentations.
4. Appreciate the use of a course management system for the development of Internet courseware.
