What is the Future of the Respiratory Therapist in The Acute Care Setting?

Respiratory Care has its origin in the acute care setting of hospitals. This presentation will look at where we have been, how far we have come, and attempt to unfold the future of the respiratory therapist in the acute care setting. Through the crystal ball, we will attempt to look at what we may be doing, what new skills will be needed, and what attributes are likely to be constant.
